Thanks for purchasing our USA eSIM.

Installing and activating your eSIM is simple! Just follow the steps below.

Step 1:

Reply to your order confirmation email with the following information:

(1) your phone's EID number and eSIM IMEI number (more details below); and

(2) the USA date that your want your eSIM to start (this will be day 1) - use day/month/year format (NOT month/day/year format).

Step 2:

Download and install your eSIM (more details below).

Step 1: Details about your phone

We need your phone's EID number and eSIM IMEI number to set-up your eSIM. This is how the US mobile network identifies your phone in order to push the eSIM to it.

Here's how to find the EID number

On an iPhone: the EID can be seen at Settings/General/About and then scroll down to EID.

On a Samsung: the EID can be seen at Settings/About Phone/Status Information/EID.

On other phones: look in your phone settings on do a Google search to find out where to find the EID.

Note that we need the "EID" number, not the MEID number.

Please copy & paste the number, rather than trying to manually type it out as you may make an error and the eSIM might not get activated. Also we cannot accept screenshots of this information.

Here's how to find the eSIM IMEI number

On an iPhone: the eSIM IMEI can be seen at Settings/General/About, and scroll down to ESIM. If you currently use a physical SIM Card in your phone then the relevant eSIM IMEI will be the number shown against "IMEI2". But if you currently use an eSIM in your phone then the eSIM IMEI will be the number shown against "IMEI" that shows as your current eSIM.

On a Samsung: Go to Settings/About Phone/Status Information/IMEI.

On a Google Pixel: the eSIM IMEI can be found at Settings/About Phone/IMEI (sim slot 2).

On other phones: look in your phone settings on do a Google search to find out where to find the eSIM IMEI.

Please copy & paste the number, rather than trying to manually type it out as you may make an error and the eSIM might not get activated. Also we cannot accept screenshots of this information.

Step 2: The USA date you want the eSIM to start

The eSIM is activated by the US mobile network by 6am US Pacific Time on the date you request.

You can't download and install the eSIM until it's activated.

Always choose the date that's one day before you arrive in the USA, unless you need your eSIM to be working for the entire duration of days you purchased. This way you can install the eSIM when you're still in Australia and it ensures that your eSIM will be working when you arrive in the USA (in the unlikely event of delays with the network's activation of your eSIM). For example, suppose you purchased a 30 day eSIM, you're in the USA for 26 days, and you arrive on April 30. Then choose April 29 as the activation date. But if you were in the USA for 30 days you'd need to choose April 30.

If you can't install the eSIM in Australia, just connect to airport Wi-Fi in the USA to download and install the eSIM while you're waiting to get through US Customs and Immigration.

Step 3: Download and install your eSIM

If you have an iPhone then once your eSIM has been activated (by 6am US Pacific Time on the date you request) you'll get a notification telling you that you have a new eSIM to install. Just tap to install the eSIM. Once you email us the information above you'll get a confirmation email which explains more about how to download and install your eSIM.

If you have a Samsung, Pixel, Oppo or other phone then once your eSIM has been activated (by 6am US Pacific Time on the date you request) you might get a notification to install the eSIM, you might need to scan a QR code, or you might need to manually input the eSIM details into your phone settings. Once you email us the information above you'll get a confirmation email which explains more about how to download and install your eSIM.

Urgently need your eSIM? Leaving to the USA today? Already in the USA?
