TravelSim offer a good product if you're travelling through lots of different countries and don't have time to get a local sim card in each country.


However, if you're spending more than a few days in the USA, we think it's better to get a sim card from www.usaprepaidsimcard.com.au for the following reasons:


  • TravelSim data costs $0.25 for 1MB!  That's $250 for just 1GB of data!  In contrast, the USA Canada and Mexico Extreme Plan with www.usaprepaidsimcard.com.au (which costs a total of $134) gives you 22GB data!  Think about how much data you're going to need to use Google Maps, Email, Facebook, FaceTime, Skype, Viber etc etc
  • It costs $0.25/min to make a call OR receive a call with TravelSim.  In contrast, on the USA Extreme Plan you get unlimited free calls to USA numbers
  • It costs $0.25 to send a text with TravelSim.  In contrast, our sim cards come with unlimited free texts to USA numbers and Australian numbers.
  • TravelSim give you a mobile number from the country of Estonia or Australia.
