Believe it or not, some of the so called "leading" travel sim products make you first ring a number, and then enter the number you want to call, then you wait for a call back and then you talk to the person blah blah blah.
With the USA sim card you use it exactly like how you use your phone at home. Want to call a number? Just call it! Want to send an SMS? Just send the SMS!
